Municipal Property Assessment Corporation
A common question we are asked regards
assessing the value of a property.
Property assessment is NOT done by municipal governments. The provincial government,
through a not for profit organization called the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation
(MPAC) classifies all property in Ontario, assesses its value, and provides the
findings to municipal governments. Those are the figures we use.
